Privacy policy

This is a translation. The German version is legally binding.

  • This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics.
  • Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server.
  • Players from YouTube, Spotify or Apple Music only load when you explicitly ask for them.

Visiting the site

The site runs on a dedicated virtual server at dashserv in a data centre in Düsseldorf, Germany. The server cannot be reached directly from the internet. All requests go through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which sits in front as a network, protection and caching service. Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, mainly your IP address, the time, the requested address and your browser identifier. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare's analytics features are switched off.

The web server itself does not store access logs.

Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Its data processing agreement is part of Cloudflare's terms of service. More: Cloudflare privacy policy.

The domain is registered with Febas; name resolution (DNS) runs through Cloudflare.

Third-party players

You can play music and videos right here. The players come from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited), Spotify (Spotify AB) and Apple Music (Apple Distribution International Ltd.). They only load after you pick a provider and click “Load player”. Only then does your browser connect to the provider and send at least your IP address and device information. The provider may set cookies and may transfer data to the USA.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can revoke it at any time below; processing that took place before remains unaffected.

These players may load without asking. Your choice is stored only in your browser.

Storage in your browser

If you choose “Load without asking from now on”, your browser remembers that in local storage (localStorage). This setting never leaves your device and is not sent to anyone. It is needed to do what you asked for (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG). You can delete it above or in your browser settings.

Security features

The site contains a few protective and deceptive features against attacks, such as a decoy login page. They run only in your browser; nothing is stored or transmitted. Only to show you your own IP address on the decoy login page does the site request a Cloudflare endpoint on the same domain (/cdn-cgi/trace). The result is only displayed.

Links to platforms

Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Suno, Instagram and other platforms are ordinary links. The logos next to them are served from this site. No data is shared until you click a link. From then on, that platform's privacy policy applies.

Contact

If you write by email or via Instagram, your details are used to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and deleted afterwards unless the law requires keeping them. Messages via Instagram are also subject to Meta's privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
